"I WAS JUST MAKING DINNER"
Full Description:
An apartment building was recently evacuated after a man burned his dinner and filled the entire fourth floor with smoke.
60 residents were forced to evacuate their apartments at Manor House, 888 Skylark Ave., about an hour. No one was injured and only one apartment unit sustained very minimal burn damage.
The elderly man was reportedly making dinner and left the apartment for awhile. His dinner was left cooking in the stove and started to burning, causing alarms to go off.
