Small plane has safe emergency landing
Full Description:
The pilot of an experimental aircraft made a safe emergency landing on the south side of the Merritt Island Airport. The pilot was not injured.
Brevard County Fire Rescue crews were called out to the air strip about 2:30 p.m. The plane, carrying about 36 gallons of fuel, is described as a Seminole Glass Airplane. Officials said only one person was onboard.
